The Ministry of Transport has written to Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) announcing the abolition of its two decisions allowing the firm to sell 75.01% of its stake in Quy Nhon Port to Hop Thanh Mineral and Investment JSC, the local media reported.

The Government Inspectorate has laid bare several irregularities uncovered in the sale of State-owned firm Vinalines’ entire stake in Quy Nhon Port. The inspectorate proposed revoking some of the paperwork issued by the Transport Ministry to pave the way for Vinalines to recover over 75% of the shares in this vital port on the central coast from Hop Thanh Mineral and Investment JSC.
