Vietnam’s Covid-19 test kits meet European standards

 Vietnam-made Covid-19 test kits have been certified as meeting European standards by the United Kingdom’s Department of Health and Social Care, reported the Government news website.

    On October 12, 2019, at Vinavetco's Annual General Meeting, the shareholders approved not to pay remuneration to members of the Board of Directors (Board of Directors) and Board of Supervisors (Supervisory Board) in 2018 - 2019 mainy due to the poor business performance. As of December 31, 2018, accumulated losses of Vinavetco amounted to more than VND 182 billion, thereby negative equity of nearly VND 96 billion. The Board of Directors of the Company said that the accounts payable to customers, bank debts, debts to partners, suppliers are very large, and the inventories of expired use are many. Ađitionally, Vinavetco will not pay dividends for 2018. The profit distribution plan for 2019 will be decided by the shareholders at the 2020 annual meeting.
