Vietnam Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VietABank) has appointed Mr. Le Xuan Vu as its Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective from September 6, 2016.
As reported by local newswire Nhip cau Dau tu, Vu, born in 1971, holds an MBA from Northcentral University (USA). He has nearly 20 years of experience in finance and banking.
Vu had many years at Techcombank and assumed Deputy CEO position at HDBank in 2013.
Earlier, on May 6, VietABank dismissed Ms. Phuong Thanh Nhung as its CEO. In addition, the bank appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Hao as Deputy CEO in charge of running the bank.
