Hanoi: Credit +10.3%, Mobilization +5.5% in 8 Months

According to the Hanoi Department of Statistics, in August 2016, the total outstanding loans of credit institutions in the area were estimated to rise 10.3% from end of 2015 while capital mobilization was estimated to climb 5.5%.

Specifically, the total outstanding loans in the city were estimated at VND1,365 trillion, up 1.1% from July and 10.3% from December 2015.

Short-term loans rose 1.6% from July and 9.1% from December 2015 while medium- and long-term loans climbed 0.5% from July and 12% from December 2015.

The total mobilized capital of credit institutions in the city was estimated at VND1,556 trillion, up 0.8% from July and 5.5% from December 2015.

Deposits rose 0.6% from July and 5.5% from December 2015 (savings deposits: +1.3% from July and 8.8% from December 2015; demand deposits:+ 0.1% from July and 3.4% from December 2015) while valuable paper issuances climbed 3.4% from July and 6.5% from December 2015.
