BID: BIDV Issues VND2,700 Bln Worth of Bonds

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam or BIDV (BID) sent its file dated August 22, 2016 to HOSE’s website, announcing  to have issued VND2,700 billion worth of 10-year-bonds, details as follows:

1. BIDV issued VND1,350 billion worth of bonds (Phase 1, 2016)

- Bond code: BIDBOND16.26.01

- Issuing time: August 17, 2016

- Bond term: 10 years

- Bonds’ par-value: VND1 billion/bond

- Issuing price: 100% of par-value

- Total bond value: VND1,350 billion

- Interest rate:

+ For the first 5 years: fixed interest rate of 7.5% per year

+ For the last 5 years: 8% per year

- Buying back bonds: BIDV has rights to buy back all bonds before the maturity date. However, the bank is not allowed to buy back a part of these bonds at the time of 05 years after the issuing date.

2. BIDV issued VND1,350 billion worth of bonds (Phase 2, 2016)

- Bond code: BIDBOND16.26.02

- Issuing time: August 19, 2016

- Bond term: 10 years

- Bonds’ par-value: VND1 billion/bond

- Issuing price: 100% of par-value

- Total bond value: VND1,350 billion

- Interest rate:

+ For the first 5 years: fixed interest rate of 7.5% per year

+ For the last 5 years: 8% per year

- Buying back bonds: BIDV has rights to buy back all bonds before the maturity date. However, the bank is not allowed to buy back a part of these bonds at the time of 05 years after the issuing date.
